Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the construction management team, supervise record keeping, correspondence and meetings; chair project meetings and distribute minutes.
  • •Monitor contractor performance, scheduling, effectiveness and quality control; enforce safety and quality standards.
  • •Issue non‑compliance notices and drive resolution.
  • •Review and approve daily inspection reports and payment quantities per project specs; manage change orders for overruns and changed conditions.
  • •Coordinate with designers on submittals, RFIs and shop drawings, and ensure coordination with adjacent projects and permit compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of experience in highway, bridge, rail, or transportation construction management
  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil preferred)
  • •Connecticut Professional Engineer license or reciprocity (CCM may be accepted)
  • •Ability to supervise staff (inspection, safety, quality, project controls)
  • •Ability to manage contractors, schedules and budgets
