Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and field hardware, software, network systems, and in-service applications at customer field sites.
  • •Rapidly evaluate network disruptions to determine outage causes and implement targeted remediation, including component replacement.
  • •Coordinate with Network Operations Centers (NOCs), network engineers, and field technicians to maintain operational readiness.
  • •Support a rotating on-call schedule and requests, and escalate complex issues to Tier 3 field engineering support.
  • •Conduct pre-deployment testing/validation and produce deployment reports, verification logs, incident post-mortems, and schedule/asset updates.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 70,000 - 80,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree and five years of experience, or a High School degree with equivalent experience.
  • •Seven years of experience performing IT technical support for federal customers.
  • •Experience with Cisco layer 2/3 devices and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • •Operating system experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux.
  • •Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance to start and hold COMPTIA A+, Network+, and Security+.
