Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct site walk-downs for data collection and prepare I/O database, including database partitioning from third-party DCS/PLC systems.
  • •Design and implement power plant control and protection systems.
  • •Perform process simulation and testing, and support design review meetings along with pre-FAT, FAT, and FAT clean-up.
  • •Verify and functionally test I/O interfaces to field devices, and supervise control system installation, commissioning, and start-up.
  • •Ensure compliance with internal and customer safety/security requirements and coordinate with contractors and project partners.

Key Requirements

  • •4 years bachelor’s degree in ECE, EEE, I&C, or E&I.
  • •5 to 10 years of experience in power plant process, project engineering, and commissioning.
  • •Process knowledge of HRSG, Boiler, and BOP control systems.
  • •Ability to design and implement control, process sequencing, and protection philosophies for sub-critical/super-critical fossil fired and combined cycle power plants.
  • •Proficiency interpreting technical instructions (math/diagram form) and using ISA and SAMA logic symbols, P&IDs, and electrical/mechanical/hydraulic schematics.
