Key Responsibilities

  • •Own technical product development and formulation from refinement through commercialization.
  • •Lead manufacturing and scale-up activities to meet quality, cost, manufacturability, sensory performance, and timing requirements.
  • •Drive technical transfer to manufacturing, including specifications, stability, quality requirements, and technical documentation.
  • •Optimize sensory and organoleptic consumer product experience to meet commercial requirements.
  • •Manage external partner and supplier relationships and resolve formulation and manufacturing challenges with contract manufacturers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition (or related); Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • •5+ years of progressive technical product development experience with significant dietary supplement industry experience.
  • •Experience with consumer sensory testing and flavor development for consumer health brands.
  • •Proven experience taking dietary supplement products from formulation through scale-up and commercial manufacturing.
  • •Direct experience working with contract manufacturers on formulation development, pilot batches, scale-up, troubleshooting, and technical transfer.
