Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and run Japan community hubs, including localization configuration and daily operations focused on Twitter/X and Discord.
  • •Monitor daily player sentiment and trending topics in Japan; draft and publish localized announcements during maintenance, bugs, and PR emergencies using Keigo.
  • •Recruit, train, and manage Japanese Discord moderator/maintenance teams to support a safe, welcoming community.
  • •Cultivate relationships with Japanese fan-creators and local KOLs to increase high-quality UGC.
  • •Synthesize community feedback into structured, actionable reports for Product/PM and global Brand teams.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience in game publishing or community operations for the Japanese market.
  • •Strong understanding of Japanese ACG subculture (e.g., Otaku, VTuber ecosystems, Doujin/fan culture) and how to handle sensitive topics appropriately.
  • •Proficiency with Twitter/X and Discord analytics to track engagement, sentiment, and organic growth and iterate operational strategies.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Journalism, Communications, Linguistics, Marketing, or related fields.
  • •Professional working proficiency in English and Japanese, with the ability to coordinate cross-border alignment with global teams.
