Job Summary

Lead the LATAM Financial Crime program across AML, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, sanctions and fraud prevention. Collaborate with regional and global teams, guide a LATAM team, and drive risk management across three lines of defense. Own reporting, monitoring and regulatory knowledge updates, while coordinating with technology and operations. Hybrid role with possible locations in Buenos Aires, Bogotá, or Santiago.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide management information, reporting and analysis on financial crime risks to relevant Committees.
•Evaluate risk appropriately in business decisions and monitor incidents, gaps or activities related to financial crime.
•Lead an integrated AML/ABC risk management approach in LATAM in coordination with global financial crime strategy.
•Review processes, procedures, and training programs to strengthen controls.
•Co-lead the LATAM financial crime team, collaborating with technology and operations to optimize reporting, monitoring and detection systems while maintaining up-to-date regulatory knowledge.

Key Requirements

•More than 5 years of experience in financial crime risk frameworks, including work in a three-lines-of-defense model.
•Experience leading risk management functions within a large, sophisticated organization.
•Proven ability to provide guidance on AML, ABC, sanctions, fraud detection and prevention, and market abuse for global corporations, including KYC diligence.
•University degree in law, with equivalent industry experience; financial crime certification is desirable.
•Fluency in English; basic Portuguese is desirable.
