Key Responsibilities

  • •Own, manage, and prioritize the Foundry Platform backlog, ensuring alignment to platform strategy, business goals, and Town Plan outcomes.
  • •Define and communicate platform vision, roadmap, objectives, and release goals with engineering, architecture, product management, security, data owners, and senior stakeholders.
  • •Translate complex stakeholder and platform requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.
  • •Balance delivery of new platform capabilities with operational improvements, technical debt remediation, governance requirements, and service reliability.
  • •Run Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and manage dependencies while tracking outcomes like adoption, reliability, delivery efficiency, user satisfaction, and data quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a Product Owner, Platform Owner, Technical Product Owner, or similar role working with software, data, or platform engineering teams.
  • •Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • •Experience with GitHub Projects (or similar) for backlog and delivery management.
  • •Experience contributing to or owning internal platforms, data platforms, APIs, analytics platforms, or shared technology services.
  • •Knowledge of data ingestion, pipelines, transformation, data quality, and governance (data product concepts, metadata, and access control would be advantageous).
