Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the management of a team of investment accounting professionals for reinsurance and statutory investment accounting.
  • •Oversee quarterly Risk Based Capital charges and ensure timely and accurate statutory financial statement reporting.
  • •Execute and review quarter-end close procedures, including analytical reviews of investment balances and statutory impairment assessments.
  • •Serve as a liaison between investment accounting operations and deal teams to ensure proper instruction and accounting for complex investment transactions.
  • •Drive process improvement and transformation initiatives to enhance investment accounting processes, data consistency, and scalable GAAP and STAT reporting.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in accounting or finance and CPA.
  • •9+ years of relevant experience in investment accounting or related areas.
  • •Strong technical accounting knowledge of U.S. GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
  • •Familiarity with complex transactions, including reinsurance.
