Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to building investigation reports, design documentation, and technical appendices alongside building science professionals.
  • •Participate in building envelope reviews, restoration assessments, site investigations, and condition verifications.
  • •Perform non-invasive investigations, including field measurements and documentation in varied conditions.
  • •Visit active construction sites to document observations, verify compliance, and collect field test results.
  • •Prepare depreciation reports and develop capital plans to support long-term decision-making for diverse client groups.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 69,900 - 102,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology, Building Science, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Eligibility or registration with EGBC as an Engineer or Engineer-in-Training.
  • •Prior experience in consulting engineering, building assessments, or restoration work.
  • •Foundational knowledge of building materials, construction processes, building envelope systems, and mechanical/electrical components.
  • •Ability to interpret drawings, collect field data, and synthesize findings into clear, concise reports.
