Key Responsibilities

  • •Instruct and ensure construction contractors comply with HSES policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures, and client requirements.
  • •Ensure contractors adhere to approved-for-construction drawings, specifications, ITPs, procedures, quality plan, and site instructions.
  • •Be responsible for HSES and quality aspects within assigned areas, ensuring work completion according to project schedule and quality plan.
  • •Develop detailed daily and weekly work plans with contractors’ supervision, planning engineers, and the Construction Engineer.
  • •Oversee piping activities, monitor scaffolding erection/dismantling/ modifications, and monitor contractor timekeeping/discipline; identify actions, close NCRs, and inform the Discipline Superintendent.

Key Requirements

  • •Overall minimum of 10 years’ experience in the process and/or utility/power construction industry.
  • •Knowledge and familiarity with engineering and construction methods, codes, documents, drawings, specifications, requirements, and control systems.
  • •Experience across areas including field engineering, quality control, craft supervision, field superintendence, safety, maintenance/turnarounds/outages, and commissioning where applicable.
  • •Certification in various inspection craft (highly preferred).
  • •Relevant Singapore Workplace Safety and Health training (highly preferred).
