Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and configure basic structural components to ensure quality of design.
  • •Review and ensure adequacy of design criteria, including structural elements, geotechnical properties, wind/seismic loads, and fire protection.
  • •Provide direction to consultants to ensure complete structural deliverables within the project schedule, including documentation coordination with architects and MEP works.
  • •Coordinate onsite material testing and ensure shop drawings and as-built drawings are prepared accurately; close out technical and material submittals.
  • •Support HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness, contribute to incident reporting/resolution, and lead/support teams through coaching and mentoring.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of working experience, including 5 years of relevant experience in structural/design engineering.
  • •Advanced proficiency in CAD software and other design tools for drafting and creating technical drawings.
  • •Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure design compliance and QA.
  • •Ability to review design criteria and loading plans (including geotechnical properties, wind/seismic loads, and fire protection) and resolve design challenges.
  • •ERP knowledge with SAP functional skills is a requirement; GCC experience is a plus.
