Detection Engineer II

Build and operate threat detection systems for Instacart’s Security organization across a cloud-native environment covering endpoint, cloud, containers, and SaaS. Develop high-fidelity detection logic, translate attacker TTPs into durable detections, and improve coverage quality and scale. Optimize telemetry and log ingestion, design SOAR playbooks for automated triage and response, and mentor other detection engineers through threat-hunting and investigation best practices.
