Deliver heavy equipment to construction sites safely and efficiently, using real-time technology to access fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details. Operate your vehicle in compliance with state and federal transportation laws, manage loading and unloading activities, and maintain required shipping paperwork. Assist with routine truck servicing, arrange trailers for efficient yard loading, and follow safety procedures while meeting physical and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate heavy vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas, following loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading and unloading goods/materials using specialized equipment and return equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain signed invoices and shipping bills of lading, deliver documentation after routes are complete, and facilitate routine truck service as needed.

Key Requirements

•Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for the vehicle weight.

•Must pass a DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
•Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; able to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
