Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive and process cash, negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station, including assisting with vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine balancing.
  • •Record sales of monetary instruments and assist with scanning bank documents and proof work.
  • •Follow account protection limits and adhere to bank policies and procedures, including completing required BSA/AML and other compliance training.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services, cross-train to open basic new consumer accounts, and maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, with 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate with customers and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group settings.
  • •Basic math skills, including adding/subtracting and using a 10-key.
  • •Ability to follow simple multi-step instructions and apply judgment in standardized situations.
