Job Summary

Perform stress and vibration analysis for gas turbine components across turbojet and turbofan development programs. Design and optimize gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost, and run thermo-mechanical simulations under multiple operating conditions. Execute creep, fatigue, fracture, vibration, rotodynamic, and FMECA assessments, review designs and simulations, develop testing guidelines, and identify and mitigate project risks while supporting and developing junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Stress and vibration analysis of gas turbine components including compressors, turbines, shafts, bearing systems, and stationary structures.
•Design and optimize gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost.
•Run thermo-mechanical simulations at design, off-design, and far off-design conditions to ensure safety and operability.
•Perform creep, fatigue, fracture, vibration, rotodynamic, and FMECA assessments to support safety and operability.
•Review designs and simulations, generate testing guidelines, identify project risks, and plan mitigation while developing junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree (or related field).
•Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, mechanical design, integrity and/or heat transfer.
•Experience in whole engine structural analysis and clearance assessments (plus).
•Experience in bearing performance assessment (plus).
•Fluent in English; 5+ years for senior roles.
