Job Summary

Own probe strategy and silicon learning across wafer test—from pre-silicon design-to-probe staging through first-silicon bring-up, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing. Define probe coverage intent, establish limits and guard-bands from characterization data, and drive yield, quality, and test-cost outcomes. Location: Singapore
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own probe coverage intent by mapping design features, device behavior, and process risks into observability, screening mechanisms, trims, and guard-bands.
  • •Release and sustain probe test flows from first silicon through qualification and high-volume manufacturing while meeting coverage objectives without unnecessary overhead.
  • •Partner with Design, DFT, and DV teams to drive design-to-probe staging, influence DFT architecture/test hooks/observability, and reduce first-silicon debug risk.
  • •Support first-silicon bring-up with engineering probe platforms and characterization to validate coverage intent, identify gaps, and accelerate flow stabilization and yield ramp.
  • •Drive wafer-level yield learning, bin definitions, failure-mode analysis, and test efficiency improvements by balancing coverage, yield, quality, and cost trade-offs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering (hardware/circuits/semiconductor focus), Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
  • •Strong fundamentals in semiconductor devices, wafer test, and product engineering.
  • •Ability to use silicon behavior and characterization data to make informed probe, yield, and coverage decisions.
  • •Experience or strong interest in silicon learning, device behavior, yield mechanisms, DFT intent, or design-to-manufacturing integration.
  • •Strong analytical skills and ability to drive structured root-cause analysis across cross-functional teams.
