Job Summary

Drive innovation from ideation to productization by discovering, prototyping, and validating ML/AI and edge computing solutions for AI-powered cloud networking. Build real prototypes (coding, testing, and documentation) in partnership with data scientists, engineers, and product teams. Co-innovate with customers and partners, translate technical ideas for executive audiences, and influence product roadmaps while establishing Extreme as a thought leader in networked AI and edge intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and evaluate emerging opportunities in ML/AI, edge computing, and adjacent technologies, and move quickly from concept to proof of concept.
•Prototype and implement real solution prototypes, including coding, validation, documentation, and technical demonstrations.
•Partner with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to turn validated ideas into production-ready features.
•Engage customers, partners, and prospects to co-develop solutions and translate complex technical ideas into narratives for executives.
•Influence product roadmaps through customer insights and participate in standards bodies and open-source communities while driving continuous technical improvement.

Salary: USD 200,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Proven record of ownership from ideation to productization with GenAI and multi-agent solutions in a large corporation or a startup.
•Proven experience to build an engineering team for GenAI and multi-agent solutions.
•Proven experience with complex AI and data-centric projects outside of the networking market.
•Fluent in at least one programming language, with expertise in Python, Java, or Go highly preferred.
•Deep knowledge of ML/AI principles, emerging architectures, and practical applications in enterprise systems, including edge computing and distributed/cloud networking architectures.

Education:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field, or equivalent professional experience
