Maintain and repair plant equipment in a chemicals manufacturing setting. You will apply PLC knowledge to electrical maintenance of process equipment, packing machines, and material handling systems, perform breakdown and preventive maintenance, manage spares and AMC coordination, implement 5S and OEE improvements, and support CAPEX projects and safety compliance in a Kharagpur-based facility.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain repairs and preventive maintenance of plant equipment and electrical systems.
•Execute electrical repair work related to process equipment, packing machines and material handling systems.
•Ensure breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance are completed to minimize downtime.
•Control and maintain engineering spares inventory and maintenance records.
•Implement 5S and monitor OEE in the assigned area.

Key Requirements

•Diploma/BE in instrumentation Engineering. 4 to 6 Years in similar role.
•Knowledge of PLC required for this role.
•Responsible for Electrical repair jobs related to process equipment, packing machines & material handling systems.
•Responsible for breakdown and preventive maintenance of all the equipment.
•Responsible for Engineering spares control & maintenance.

Experience:4-6 yearsChemicalsManufacturing
