Key Responsibilities

  • •Test database software, utilities and patches in a test environment before production rollout and coordinate with developers to minimize impact
  • •Handle authentication/authorization by managing user accounts and permissions, and implement audit procedures
  • •Schedule and ensure completion of database backup tasks and perform recovery during DR exercises
  • •Perform routine maintenance (compression, defragmentation, archiving, load balancing) and recommend hardware/server improvements
  • •Collaborate with Applications Team to troubleshoot and resolve failures, document configurations, and support CI/CD/DevOps pipelines related to databases

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree
  • •Typically minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • •Experience with installation, customization, testing and maintenance of database systems in production
