Key Responsibilities

  • •Operationalize complex ML models into robust, scalable features for global brands like Tinder and Hinge.
  • •Design and develop backend services and distributed systems to enable consumption, scaling, and monitoring of ML models.
  • •Build ML serving pipelines for real-time and batch inference with low latency and high reliability.
  • •Partner with ML engineers to deploy and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for high-impact use cases such as profile assistance.
  • •Co-engineer with engineering counterparts across global offices, including Seoul, Palo Alto, LA, Vancouver, Dallas, and Tokyo.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of software engineering experience focused on Backend, ML Engineering, or Data Engineering.
  • •Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems) and distributed system design.
  • •Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, or C#.
  • •A strong interest in building ML models and deploying them in real-world production environments.
  • •Professional working proficiency in English and fluent Korean for cross-functional collaboration in Seoul.
