Job Summary

Join the kitchen team at Oak Lodge Care Home and help deliver an excellent dining experience for residents. You’ll create varied, nutritious menus using fresh ingredients, share ideas to improve mealtimes, and manage day-to-day food prep, cooking, and serving. You’ll also ensure compliance with COSHH and HACCP, oversee budgets, orders, and deliveries, and cater for special events and seasonal activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Create nutritious menus using fresh ingredients based on residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
•Put forward ideas to improve the dining experience and help residents feel at home.
•Train and manage the kitchen team for prepping, cooking, and serving food.
•Follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, and manage budgets, orders, and deliveries.
•Cater for special events and seasonal activities such as summer fetes, Christmas parties, and birthdays (as required).
