Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop a strong understanding of Ciena’s integrated photonic components to create innovative opto-mechanical designs.
  • •Collaborate with RF and optical chip design teams to define functional specifications and ensure efficient integration of design components.
  • •Plan and run design of experiments (DOE) to meet critical design parameters while optimizing cost and assembly for high-volume manufacturing.
  • •Monitor, document, and communicate progress; identify and raise potential issues affecting product functionality or target dates.
  • •Participate in design reviews and ensure documentation and follow-up, including transferring designs to a production environment with external teams.
