Key Responsibilities

•Select HVAC systems for various applications and perform mechanical design calculations (heat load, ventilation, pressure drop for ducting and piping).
•Prepare and review single-line design markups and drawings (P&IDs, general layout, duct and piping layouts).
•Select equipment such as pumps, fans, chillers, cooling towers, tanks; coordinate with vendors as applicable.
•Prepare and review design basis reports and tender documents; ensure BIM work complies with codes and standards.
•Coordinate with BIM technicians, other departments and clients; participate in project meetings and ensure QA/QC procedures are followed.

Key Requirements

•BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of experience in HVAC Design; candidates with higher qualification will be preferred.
•Experience in MEP design of infrastructure and data centers with specialization in HVAC and Refrigeration; proficient in heat load, ventilation calculations, equipment selection, and BOQ/general layout.
•Knowledge of design standards such as ASHRAE, NBC, ECBC, NFPA, Uptime Institute, TIA 942, BICSI 002, EN 50600.
•Proficiency with software tools like HAP, Ansys, IES, Six Sigma, Cradle, Navisworks, REVIT, AutoCAD.
•Ability to prepare and review design basis reports, tender documents, and ensure BIM work complies with codes and standards.
