Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and control station finance activities, including authorising (per manual of authorities) and evaluating/implementing corporate finance decisions.
  • •Plan, organize, direct, and control finance activities to achieve high accounting standards, protect company assets, minimize costs, and establish business support functions at outstations.
  • •Implement and monitor internal controls, ensure compliance with company policies, and support audit rating for finance-related station areas.
  • •Oversee accounts and records (assets records, reconciliations, general ledgers, invoices, payrolls, revenue documents) and maintain filing and documentation accuracy.
  • •Manage budgeting and credit/revenue processes, including annual budgets, petty cash, station payroll, bank reconciliations, receivables ageing, agent recovery, and finance liaison with auditors, HQ, legal, and tax authorities.

Key Requirements

  • •5-7 years’ experience in a similar position, with airline experience in expenditure and revenue accounting preferred.
  • •University degree or equivalent, with a professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/CMA/CFA) as an added advantage.
  • •Strong accounting knowledge and ability to produce concise, accurate financial reports and correspondence.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • •Ability to manage finance activities, sub-ordinates, and implement/monitor controls and accounting systems.
