Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) function across multiple retail entities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in line with IFRS, tax, audit, and Group standards. Own month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities, strengthen balance sheet integrity, and drive governance, operational excellence, process standardization, and automation. Serve as the escalation point for complex accounting and reconciliation issues while leading, mentoring, and improving performance of R2R teams and shared services.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end R2R operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and successful month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
•Oversee balance sheet integrity by reviewing journals, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and high-risk accounting areas.
•Ensure adherence to IFRS, internal controls, tax regulations, audit requirements, and Group reporting standards across markets.
•Act as the escalation point for complex accounting issues, operational risks, reconciliation challenges, and service delivery matters.
•Lead, develop, and mentor Process Managers and Associate Managers; drive process standardization, ERP enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement to raise efficiency and service quality.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce, with a professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, or IFRS certification.
•12+ years of experience in Finance and Record to Report operations in complex, high-volume, multi-entity organizations.
•Proven leadership experience managing large R2R teams and shared services across business units or countries.
•Strong technical expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, balance sheet management, and accounting governance.
•Advanced proficiency in SAP (or other enterprise ERP) plus strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
