Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform complex structural analyses for aerospace components using hand and computer calculations, including static, fatigue, and fracture analysis.
  • •Define, assess, and document repair designs for metallic, bonded metallic, and advanced composite aerospace structures.
  • •Work with the Materials Review Board (MRB) to develop standard repair instructions.
  • •Analyze repair proposals and prepare engineering reports supporting customer repairs and FAA approval, including obtaining authorized engineering signatures.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and support corrective action/defect reduction initiatives; develop tools/processes to improve Engineering Production Support workflow efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience performing static stress and fatigue analysis using classical methods and finite element analysis.
