Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce high-level designs for platform infrastructure solutions.
  • •Maintain the technology roadmap for Platform/Unix solutions in line with end of support dates.
  • •Work closely with Delivery, Engineering, and Operations to deliver solutions into production.
  • •Ensure solutions conform to policies/standards and meet non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, and manageability.
  • •Identify, assess, and communicate technical risks and evaluate products for future usage and trials of new technologies.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Oracle Linux and RHEL.
  • •In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies including OVM, KVM, and OLVM.
  • •In-depth knowledge of VMware (ESX).
  • •Significant experience operating in a high-availability environment and delivering complex technical architectures.
  • •Ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
