Establish and scale infrastructure security for Chainlink’s cloud environments and decentralized network. Lead a small team while acting as a player-coach to standardize secure patterns across AWS and GCP, unify IAM and secrets management, and deliver secure Terraform and GitOps workflows. Automate compliance, logging, and security controls aligned to SOC 2 Type 2 and banking-grade standards, while reducing compromise blast radius through hardening and cloud security boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and standardize secure infrastructure patterns across AWS and GCP to create a scalable security foundation.
•Establish unified identity and access management with centralized secrets management to reduce infrastructure risk.
•Deliver secure Terraform and GitOps workflows that enable safe, repeatable infrastructure deployments.
•Automate infrastructure compliance, logging, and security controls to support SOC 2 Type 2 and banking-grade standards.
•Reduce infrastructure compromise blast radius through stronger IAM, platform hardening, and cloud security boundaries across distributed systems.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience authoring and deploying production Terraform for cloud security, including complex IAM, EKS, and VPC implementations via GitOps pipelines (Atlantis or ArgoCD).
•Proven success leading and mentoring a small engineering team while retaining direct technical project delivery as a player-coach.
•Built foundational infrastructure hardening and IAM standards from scratch in an organization without an established infrastructure security function.
•Designed and implemented secure Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices in production cloud environments.
•Architected and secured cloud infrastructure while partnering with engineering teams to embed security into development workflows.
