Job Summary

Ensure the proper mechanical functioning of plant equipment by troubleshooting electrical and electronic malfunctions and completing required repairs and maintenance. Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the production area, install wiring and conduit for new machines, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, diagnose and test faulty machinery, and calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications. Prepare maintenance reports and maintain tools and electrical parts while supporting routine production needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the production area.
•Troubleshoot electrical/electronic malfunctions, diagnose and test faulty machinery, and repair/replace components.
•Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
•Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings; calibrate/adjust equipment to manufacturer specifications.
•Prepare maintenance reports, maintain stock of tools and electrical parts, and support welding/fabrication as required.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent or completion of technical school (or equivalent training, experience, and education).
•At least 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions.
•Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements related to electrical and mechanical operations and components.
•Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
•Full knowledge of three-phase 480-volt equipment and working knowledge of three-phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces, and the National Electrical Code.
