Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead production-grade customer technical projects, including reference architectures, custom applications, and data ingestion/ML-AI integrations.
  • •Design and deploy end-to-end big data and AI applications for strategic customers, collaborating with engagement managers on scope and measurable outcomes.
  • •Guide customers on architecture and design; bootstrap or implement projects to support evaluation, adoption, and successful understanding of Databricks.
  • •Own architecture and design decisions, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
  • •Embed with customer teams and coordinate with Databricks engineering, project management, and support to deliver technical components and capture product/implementation feedback.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
  • •Comfort writing code in Python, Scala, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript with modern frameworks.
  • •Expert knowledge of distributed computing with Apache Spark and familiarity with Spark runtime internals.
  • •Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
  • •Experience with production delivery including CI/CD, MLOps/ML/AI models, AI APIs, and end-to-end data architectures and applications.
