Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate and/or modify copper or aluminum bus and add cutouts to doors and covers.
  • •Operate fabrication equipment (FMS, press brake, shear, punch, bender, nibbler) to create or modify bus connectors, risers, taps, and mains.
  • •Fabricate and assemble braces, spacers, barriers, and supports for copper or aluminum.
  • •Set up and operate a nibbler/punch press to modify or add cutouts and holes.
  • •Use electric trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, ergo lifts, and cranes to move material and product as required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •One year machine operation experience; preferably press brake.
  • •Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • •Ability to interface with a workstation computer to pull blueprints and review/complete job orders in the DMM system.
  • •Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Fayetteville, NC (Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt).
