Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) Combat Systems SME

Serve as a Lead Combat Systems subject matter expert supporting combat systems maintenance and engineering for surface ships. You’ll oversee day-to-day and long-range SSDS/AEGIS readiness activities across Readiness Assistance Training Teams (RATT), collaborate with shipboard crews and government and depot teams, assess system performance, and lead corrective actions. Apply deep combat systems expertise to produce readiness assessments, reports, and tailored training curricula while traveling extensively.
