Job Summary

Lead day-to-day operations of a high-volume sorting center, driving inbound receiving, inventory movement, picking/packing, putaway, and outbound shipping. Ensure work is executed to SOPs, quality, and safety standards while monitoring throughput, productivity (UPH), and service-level metrics. Build staffing plans, remove operational bottlenecks, and partner with warehouse and transportation teams for end-to-end execution. Coach frontline teams and maintain OSHA/5S compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead daily warehouse operations across inbound receiving, inventory movement, picking, packing, putaway, and outbound shipping.
•Ensure operational processes follow SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
•Monitor operational performance (throughput, productivity, UPH, service level) and take corrective actions as needed.
•Develop staffing plans and allocate labor resources based on forecasts; identify and resolve bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and workflow backlogs.
•Coach and develop Team Leads and frontline associates; maintain OSHA compliance and 5S practices while serving as the primary escalation point for shift-level issues.

Key Requirements

•Associate’s degree or above.
•3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, sortation centers, logistics, or supply chain environments, including hands-on frontline management.
•Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment.
•Strong workforce planning and labor management skills to allocate resources based on volume changes.
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making to manage disruptions and maintain service levels.
