Job Summary

Senior Staff Engineer leading the Model LifeCycle team to architect and build the end-to-end platform for training, fine-tuning, deployment, and management of AI models at scale. You will own core abstractions and APIs for model training, lifecycle management, and enterprise-grade workflows, collaborating with product and platform teams and contributing to open-source LLM infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•Model Fine-Tuning Orchestration: Design and manage fine-tuning systems for large foundation models, including multi-node orchestration, checkpointing, and cost-efficient scaling.
•End-to-End Training Pipelines: Implement robust training pipelines for LLMs, including distillation and reinforcement learning pipelines (PPO/DPO) and reward modeling.
•Agent & Execution Infrastructure: Build and scale infrastructure for reliable agent execution and complex model-driven workflows.
•Lifecycle Management: Develop systems for dataset, model, and experiment management with versioning, lineage, and reproducible fine-tuning at scale.
•Strategic Architectural Leadership: Influence long-term decisions regarding training runtimes, scheduling, and storage to define core platform abstractions.

Key Requirements

•An advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
•8–12+ years of professional experience driving high-impact engineering projects in the AI/ML space.
•Expert-level proficiency with cloud-based services (elastic compute, object storage, virtual networking, managed databases) to build scalable systems.
•Deep technical experience in Generative AI, focused on infrastructure for LLM training and large-scale inference.
•Proven track record delivering 0 → 1 projects under tight deadlines with high engineering standards.
