Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the hotel’s finance and accounting department as a strategic advisor to the General Manager and Executive Committee.
  • •Act as primary financial liaison to hotel owners/representatives and ensure compliance with the Hotel Management Agreement.
  • •Ensure accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting and lead P&L reviews with operational department heads to recommend corrective actions.
  • •Develop the annual operating budget, business plan, and CapEx plan; run rolling revenue and expense forecasts; manage cash, liquidity, bank reconciliations, and working capital optimization.
  • •Design and maintain internal financial controls, support internal/external audits, ensure compliance with local laws and tax obligations, and oversee procurement, payroll, and asset management (including contract and license safeguarding).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or MBA (Finance) strongly preferred.
  • •Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Director of Finance (or senior Assistant Director of Finance ready to step up) in a 5-star international luxury hotel chain.
  • •Fluency in English (written & spoken) is mandatory; Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • •Experience safeguarding assets, optimizing hotel profitability, and maintaining financial controls and regulatory compliance as a core Executive Committee member.
  • •Proficiency with hotel accounting software (e.g., Opera PMS, SunSystems, Material Control/FBM, Oracle) and advanced Excel; familiarity with local GCC tax regulations.
