Job Summary

Join Core Accounting in Finance and help deliver ledger-as-a-service capabilities that make Wise’s financials more timely, accurate, and controlled. Key Responsibilities

•Design, shape, develop, and test applications using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and React in a microservices environment.
•Participate in building ledger-as-a-service, an aggregation pipeline for financials, and third-party integrations.
•Own and learn the third-party systems in Finance and how to integrate with them.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product requirements and drive initiatives.
•Contribute to code quality through clean, well-documented code, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices (observability, security, testing).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 5,750 - 7,083.33 monthly

•Design scalable backend services and APIs using sound design patterns and scalable system thinking.
•Work across the stack with strong backend expertise, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
•Maintain availability, reliability, and security of the systems you build, including API-first, well-documented design.
•Demonstrate strong microservices and distributed systems experience and the ability to design scalable, maintainable systems with proper abstractions.
