Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing documentation, including CMM programming, inspection planning, finishing requirements, and assembly instructions.
  • •Create, control, and improve the manufacturing and inspection process through collaboration with engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
  • •Review metrology and SPC data to identify and address potential defects before they occur.
  • •Troubleshoot manufacturing issues using CORE/6-sigma methods, develop Root Cause/Corrective Action plans, and drive corrective actions to closure.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • •5+ years of CMM programming, workpiece holding, and manual inspection methodology.
  • •5+ years interpreting engineering drawings, including ASME Y14.5 GD&T and related government/industry specifications.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • •Experience programming for complex workpieces and/or 4+ axis machining centers is preferred.
