Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor implementation of WHO policy on TCIM practitioners and manage related documents or tools.
  • •Contribute to development and updates of normative/technical documents, databases, and educational materials for TCIM practitioners.
  • •Organize and coordinate TCIM practitioner-related projects and oversee collection of policy and regulation evidence.
  • •Provide technical inputs with subject experts to develop technical products improving TCIM practitioners’ competencies.
  • •Support countries’ development and implementation of national TCIM policy and health plans, including regulatory mechanisms and education/training.

Key Requirements

  • •A first university professional degree in traditional, complementary or integrative medicine.
  • •At least 5 years of experience in traditional, complementary and integrative medicine, including 2 years in education and training.
  • •Experience collaborating with multilateral, bilateral and regional development institutions, with demonstrated international exposure.
  • •Advanced university degree in traditional, complementary or integrative medicine, public health, education, or a relevant subject.
  • •Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
