Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake the project management role on mid- to large renewable projects focused on the construction phase.
  • •Liaise with clients, manage day-to-day project delivery against requirements, timescales, and budgets, and address underperformance.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary design and construction of renewable energy infrastructure.
  • •Support procurement through preparation of Employer’s Requirements and NEC/Fidic/JCT/bespoke technical contractual documentation; manage/administer NEC/FIDIC/JCT and bespoke contracts including technology supply contracts.
  • •Manage construction-phase performance, contribute to client interface, maintain project budgets/programme, support governance (set-up to completion) with reporting and invoicing, review deliverables, perform quality control, and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng (Hons) degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental) or a diploma in Project Management.
  • •Background in project and construction delivery in the energy sector, including grid-connected project complexities.
  • •Experience leading management of renewable projects across design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • •Experience with contract documentation and administration, including NEC, FIDIC, JCT, and bespoke technical contractual documentation.
  • •Strong construction-phase commercial awareness and ability to manage deliverables, quality control, and proposal development.
