Job Summary

Own financial reporting and analysis across orders, backlog, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Perform month-end variance and trend analysis against forecast, prepare monthly forecast reviews for executive leadership, and maintain the CAE backlog pipeline. Support annual operating plan and strategy outlook work, coordinate with program finance, and track KPIs to identify root causes, risks, and opportunities using Adaptive Planning.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze month-end actuals against forecast and prepare variance/trend analysis.
•Collaborate with corporate FP&A teams across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow requirements.
•Prepare monthly forecast reviews reviewed with executive leadership.
•Update and maintain CAE backlog pipeline and unfunded reporting to corporate.
•Coordinate with program finance on cadence and enterprise tool utilization; monitor KPIs and track variances to identify root causes, risks, and opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•2-5 years working in finance, with experience forecasting and analyzing trends.
•Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to mentor and be a detailed self-starter who can explain complex topics.
