Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute system-level testing and evaluation of hardware and software, focusing on resource planning, ground and flight tests, issue investigations, and process improvement.
•Collaborate with program management and engineering departments to develop requirements and discuss test results with data and observations.
•Perform safety and risk analysis for testing events and collect/test data for system evaluation.
•Conduct ground and flight testing at private and government-owned test ranges, adhering to established procedures.
•Lead test planning, execution, reporting, and evaluation of the system under test, coordinating with pilots, SMEs, and operations.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
•Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and determine the appropriate approach to provide solutions to a range of complex problems.
•Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to strengthen communication channels within and externally (engineering, program leadership, operations).
•Methodical, thorough, and detail oriented; able to work independently and as part of a team on complex tasks in one or more engineering areas.
•Willingness to learn new skills and concepts; ability to obtain FAA Part 107 certification and Part 61 certification (pilots, flight instructors) or meet the requirements.
•Ability to travel as required for planning and testing.
