Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build reliable, scalable systems for business onboarding and verification across Europe and the UK.
  • •Build and improve systems to verify businesses, owners, directors, and associated parties.
  • •Automate information collection, verification, and decision-making to reduce onboarding time and manual work.
  • •Create flexible onboarding journeys that adapt to different markets, business types, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Develop controls and monitoring for financial-crime and compliance risk with minimal customer friction, owning projects end to end.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong product mindset with a user-experience focus and data-driven decisions to fix customer pain points.
  • •Experience with Java or another JVM language, including Spring framework and deep understanding of JDBC and database internals.
  • •Experience with CI/CD pipelines and distributed and concurrent systems.
  • •Experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation, and designing schemas.
  • •Comfort working independently with end-to-end project ownership, collaborating daily with product managers, data scientists/analysts, and engineers.
