Job Summary

Safely perform repetitive line assembly of Trane commercial HVAC components in a manufacturing environment. Follow DFT methods, assembly diagrams, and method sheets while using hand and power tools, measuring devices, and conveyors. Conduct quality checks and tests, support QMS and continuous improvement, and maintain housekeeping while adhering to all safety rules and PPE requirements on a Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm shift.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies using predetermined DFT methods and sequences.
•Carry out tasks such as brazing, soldering, operating machines and presses, and hanging/unhanging parts as assigned.
•Read, understand, and follow method sheets, assembly diagrams, OMSs, and verbal (written and oral) instructions.
•Use measuring devices to complete quality checks and tests, and support QMS by meeting quality objectives and customer requirements.
•Follow safety rules and procedures, maintain tools/equipment and the work area, and suggest process improvement ideas.

Key Requirements

•1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
•Ability to use hand and power tools (e.g., wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, steel banding).
•Ability to read and apply method sheets, assembly diagrams, and print drawings, and follow written/oral directions.
•Knowledge of and willingness to comply with safety rules and procedures, including wearing PPE and lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion.
•Ability to use computer systems and apply basic math/mechanical aptitude.
