Job Summary

Lead and deliver Civil 3D modelling for Renewables projects within a multidisciplinary design team. Provide full Civil 3D modelling support, mentor junior staff, and contribute to pre-feasibility, concept design, tender, estimation, and detailed design for UK rail/transit and renewable infrastructure while adhering to ISO19650 standards and AECOM CAD procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver earthwork design and analysis for tracks/roads/intersections/laydown construction areas, volumes analysis and drainage
•Process, annotate, and present design data as project deliverables
•Document Control
•Provide expertise as the go-to Civil 3D modeller and guidance within the team, including liaison with internal and external design teams
•Operate CAD software for internal/external meetings and presentations and ensure CAD activities adhere to client and AECOM standards

Key Requirements

•Degree in engineering or a CAD-related subject (e.g., HNC/HND, BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng) with civil engineering preferred
•Experience in civil engineering industries (land development, transport, construction, water, etc)
•Proficient user of AutoCAD Civil 3D within a live project environment
•Be the go-to Civil 3D modeller for the team and provide guidance
•Interest in building and leading a modelling team in time and a passion for renewables/energy transition
