Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough vehicle condition inspections on dealer lots and safely move/handle vehicles as needed.
  • •Verify vehicle identification details (VINs, mileage, sub-series, options) and accurately document exterior, interior, and basic mechanical condition.
  • •Identify and document damage, missing components, or inoperable features according to Manheim standards.
  • •Build trust with dealer clients by delivering consistent, high-quality inspections, engaging dealers to increase inspection volume, and supporting territory coverage.
  • •Submit daily activity/production reports using Salesforce.com and participate in safety/compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (required for all levels).
  • •Level 1: minimal automotive knowledge preferred and 0–1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
  • •Level 2: 3+ years of experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination) with 1–2 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
  • •Senior level: 5+ years of experience in a related field plus previous vehicle inspection experience and strong automotive (body/mechanical) knowledge.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role.
