Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement or support the implementation of an integrated risk management framework across a major capital programme.
  • •Facilitate identification, assessment, and prioritisation of threats, opportunities, and issues within the sub-programme.
  • •Maintain visibility of trigger points to enable risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget, and retirement of risks.
  • •Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels and monitor overall risk exposure against remaining risk budget.
  • •Produce risk reports to communicate threat and opportunity status and work with contractors to assess contractor-held risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in a risk delivery role on major projects/programmes, ideally within infrastructure areas such as rail, aviation, water/utilities, highways, or Defence.
  • •A working understanding of an integrated risk management process (risk, cost, and schedule) on large programmes.
  • •Experience with risk workshops, threat mitigation, and opportunity exploitation, including probabilistic modelling.
  • •Competence with tools such as PRA, @risk, Safran (or similar) and familiarity with web-based database tools such as ARM, Predict, and Tableau.
  • •APM/IRM risk certification preferred; degree qualified in a construction-related subject.
