Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide the critical first impression for SpaceX and support employees, customers, vendors, and guests with professionalism and security-focused service.
  • •Track special events and visits, and ensure thorough knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols.
  • •Coordinate with Security leadership and the Protective Operations Center for incident/emergency notifications, emergency response assistance, and surveillance camera monitoring.
  • •Prepare clear written incident reports and report maintenance, facility, and technology issues and alarms.
  • •Oversee implementation of multiple security projects without direct supervision, including standing post, escort duty, and tours as directed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •5+ years of experience in a customer service or facility security position.
  • •Availability to work any schedule needed, including overtime, nights, weekends, and rotating schedules.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to pass Air Force and NASA background checks for installation access, as needed.
  • •Possess or obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance and possess or be eligible for a valid state security officer license.
