  • •Help set technical direction for the group and beyond.
  • •Identify and create essential processes, tools, standards, and design guides to establish best practices.
  • •Support Responsible Engineering Authorities (REAs) to solve technical challenges, identify solutions, and develop verification tests.
  • •Provide technical guidance to programs through technical lead engineering activities such as design reviews, customer meetings, failure review/analysis, and trade study assessment.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of technical experience in design and analysis of aerospace hardware.
  • •Adept with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar, and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
  • •Experience with spacecraft environments and testing, including random, sine, and acoustic vibration tests, and TVAC testing.
  • •Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, knowledge of satellite hardware, qualification methods, and first principles understanding of spacecraft sub-systems.
  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences focus).
