Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
  • •Design, monitor, and summarize farm trails to provide information to customers and the agronomy team working with CHS producers.
  • •Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
  • •Generate written reports and present them to a supervisor and/or customer.
  • •Learn agronomy product/service features and assist with over-the-counter sales, product delivery, and inventory/invoicing using Agris.

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Assist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.

  • •Preferred: previous agriculture knowledge or experience and/or internship experience.
