Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on flight simulators and associated systems.
  • •Diagnose, correct, and evaluate routine simulator issues using applicable diagnostics and Qualification Test Guide (QTG) results.
  • •Complete pre-flight and post-flight checks, including visual alignments and system setup activities for visual systems.
  • •Maintain accurate records in a maintenance management system and assist with logistics (parts received, repair, and testing/validation) and housekeeping.
  • •Support refurbishment and hardware modifications, train technicians in basic skills, and complete designated training activities.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •2-year technical degree or equivalent related training.
  • •Minimum 3 years direct simulator experience, including at least 1 year relative simulator experience per assigned location.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot to system level on multiple types of simulators and use/interpret diagnostics across multiple simulator types.
  • •Proficiency performing preventive maintenance plus pre-flight and post-flight checks on any simulator in the fleet.
  • •Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite.
